Tail-Seat Frame Building

Bent some 3/16" x 1 1/4" stock into a hoop to support the tail/seat. Plan to drill and bolt it to the tire side of the upper shock mounts. Why not, they are already tapped?

The South end of a North bound chicken...and some free advert for Steve Storz.

Stop side line: Tank end looks a little low. Sledge hammer is keeping this pricey piece of glass from bouncing on the concrete.

Go side: yep, tank end is too low.

Focus you idiot. Might be time for a higher megapixel camera. Looks like it could stand to move towards the tank a couple of inches too.

The debut.

Well... tomorrow night caps 2 years of hard work (ok, maybe 10 practices in 2 years, 4 of 'em in the last 2 weeks). The Geniuses are unleashing the rock tomorrow night at the 3 Kings in Denver. 3 of the 59s, Kurt, Barry, and me, Gb, plus Rich from Boss 302 are gonna butcher some power pop classics. Wish us luck...

Oh man.

I've always been a fan of 2-strokes, moreso if they're got 2 or more cylinders.

This one at vft.org is a fine example.

Someday...

Ooh!!! Ducati "Scramblers"

I think if I could ever buy a *new* bike, it'd be a Ducati. I love 'em, and I LOVE what these guys do with 'em!

Finally...Sato Rear Sets

Go side before.

Stop side in progress.
Had to pull the pipes and re-bend the hard brake line.
Braided line and pressure switch replacement coming soon.

Go Side After

Stop Side After

Makin' Brackets

The linkage on my rearsets always bugged me, and what with Barry getting those fancy Sato units, I finally did something about mine.

Got a great deal on a Buell XB shifter and linkage, threw in some scrap aluminum, and voila!

Is Kenny Alive???

Cool Beem stolen from Church of Choppers.

Yellow tank makes the rounds.

The yellow tank is taking a turn on my bike. The sale of fenders (and tank) on eBay left me needing a temporary fuel cell. Thanks to Garrett for the pit stop fast swap out last night.
