Bike took a step backwards. I've been fighting the effects of fuel additives on the fiberglass tank for awhile. Came out of work yesterday, and in the 90+ temps the little tank finally gave up the ghost. The top caved in like someone had punched it, and gas was bubbling out through a crack in the top of the tank. Back to stock, for now...

  1. Sorry to hear about your tank Garrett. Guess it's better to go with an aluminum XR style tank ? Funny thing, me and Gene just saw an alum XR tank on a chopper yesterday at a bike nite, the guy said he picked it up at a swap meet for just a couple hundred $$$.

  2. Thanks Ralph. It was a sad day indeed.
